You know, [reporters] sit there and they say nothing, while for 20 years [President Obama] sits in a church with a guy who is a racist, And somehow or another Foster Friess is now who I am? This is just crap.
Rick Santorum responding to the controversy over his top contributer comment that “gals” in his day “stuck an aspirin between their knees.”
So there’s actually a lot that interesting about this short quote. Is he implying that the media didn’t cover the Jeremiah Wright story and try to connect him to Obama? Because they did like hell. So if he’s rejecting the belief that someone tied to your campaign shouldn’t reflect poorly on your campaign then does he reject the implications made about Rev. Wright?
Of course the funniest part of this is that Obama doesn’t have a history of yelling “death to America,” but Santorum sure has a history of saying pretty awful shit about women.
